Senior Student Leadership Teams

This year all our Year 7-8 students are in a Leadership Team, according to their interests.

The Teams are:

• The A Team (one member selected from each of the following teams)
• Tech Team
• Library Team
• News Team
• Bus Team
• Mediator Team
• Ambassador Team
• Eco Team
• Catering Team
• Sports Team
• Build Team
• House Leaders

The photo below shows you just one example of how this leadership looks in practice, and how our younger students look up to their older role models.

WWF Funding Celebration for our Secret Garden!

On Monday our ECO Warriors went to the Secret Garden for a special celebration. Wendy, the lady from WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) had come to see what we had been spending our $3000 grant money on:

1. The potting shed
2. The tools and wheelbarrow

We gave her a Springston A+ thanks certificate.  When did YOU last visit our Secret Garden? Pop down to the garden, we'd love to show you what it's all about.

Why do we Blog? There's more to it than meets the eye...

You may have noticed that there are lots of exciting things being shared regularly on all of our class blogs this year. You will find links to all our blogs down the side of each school or class blog, and on our school website.

Our blogs are a window into our wonderful classrooms. Please make time to look in regularly, and talk about what you discover with your child. 

We recommend that you 'subscribe' by email (use the box for this on each blog - it's free), or use an rss feed reader if you know how. This helps you get update alerts straight to your email, and saves you having to go and look at each blog, one at a time, to see what new posts there are.

Students and teachers would love you to post comments back to them - this kind of feedback is amazing for students. If you're not sure how to do this, see Carol or your child's teacher. Your child might even be able to teach you!
