Gold Wins Top Team!
The Winning Team
It started with Sven presenting a speech on health and safety and the groups from 1-20 spread off into a sea of water, puzzles and active activities. It was all about working together as a team to get points and hopefully come out on top. Charlotte said “Though it was hard it brought us closer together.”
After 2 hours the teams all got back together to discuss scores. Teams coming out on top including Red 17, Red 20 and then Gold 5 winning first place. Ianthe said “Even though we didn’t win we all enjoyed the experience.”

Here we are for 2018!
Here we are for 2018! This week on Wednesday 31 January we will be welcoming you back to the new term at Springston School. We hope you have enjoyed a restful and fun family time, and coped with the heat wave. It looks like we're in for more of this during the coming week, so please remember to send your children along with their sun hats and swimming gear, and a drink bottle.
We remind you that on Wednesday you have been allocated times to attend with your child/ren for goal-setting meetings with this year's teachers.
Our normal school timetable gets underway on Thursday 1 February at 9am.

Year 4-8 students are asked NOT to bring their BYOD device at the very start of the year, until their teachers ask them to do so.
Student Google accounts will be re-activated in the next day or so. SONIC Team students will need to look out for an email from their teachers.

In the meantime, stay safe and stay cool! The staff found it VERY hot last week in Hanmer, during their annual staff retreat - phew!
