We hope you and your families are all safe and well.

Apologies about the lateness of this update, I've just got power back on here at home in Avonhead.

I have heard news on TV reporting that all schools are to be closed until further notice. However, please check here for further updates (unless I lose power again) in case the situation is different in the Selwyn district. You may possibly also hear directly from your child's classroom teacher, as in the 4 September quake. I will update as soon as possible.

Take care.
